Luke 10:25-37

God’s Love is SELFLESS.

God’s Love is SYMPATHETIC.

God’s Love is SACRIFICIAL.

The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: “If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?” But… the good Samaritan reversed the question: “If I do not stop to help the man, what will happen to him? – Martin Luther King Jr.

Selfishness and Significance are Incompatible.

I must put God’s Love into ACTION.

Who is God asking me to love?

As you reflect on the message this week, use some of these questions to consider how God might be working within and around you.

Questions for Reflection:

  • Can you think of a time when someone else shared the love of God with you in a tangible way?

  • How did that experience change you?

  • Why do you think selfishness and significance are incompatible?

  • Who is God asking you to love this week?
