Praus = Well Trained Horse
Matthew 5:5 (NIV)

Need to Work on the Emotional Part of Your Faith:
1. I’m aware of what needs to happen in my faith, but have yet to do it.
2. I am numb to the needs & concerns of those around me.
3. I praise, yell, scream, shout at the TV or other events; just not at Church.
4. The idea of evangelism is of no interest to me.
5. I have trouble praying.

Need to Work on the Logical Part of Your Faith:
1. When truth contradicts what I previously believed it makes me angry; or if someone has a different opinion thane it change show I feel about them.
2. My beliefs on what is right perfectly align with my political party.
3. My self-worth is heavily influenced by what people think about me.
4. Every idea, book, or TED Talk changed my life.
5. I have no appetite for scripture.

As you reflect on the message this week, use some of these questions to consider how God might be working within and around you.

Questions for Reflection:

  • Which do you think you lean more heavily towards – the horse or the rider?

  • What would it look like for you to know God?

  • What would it look like for you to love God?

  • What can you do this week to cultivate your horse or your rider?
