Title: I’m Not Supposed To Be Here

Sometimes we’re not where we’re supposed to be because WE took a wrong turn.

I’m Not Supposed to be here will always lead to “I want to go back there.”

What is going on around you is nothing compared to what God is doing within you.

God entrusts you with a new level of your identity, and then he tests that identity.

Are you fighting for victory? Or from victory?

In the trial God confirms what he has already entrusted.

As you reflect on the message this week, use some of these questions to consider how God might be working within and around you.

Questions for Reflection:

  • Can you recall a time when you were in the wilderness, a time when you said “I’m not supposed to be here?” What was your response?

  • What is the greatest lie that you believe when you are in the wilderness?

  • How does the knowledge that God is always working, even in the midst of the wilderness, change the way you experience your circumstances? How does it change the way you respond to the wilderness places in your life?
