We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Production Director to lead the production efforts for our Beavercreek Campus weekly worship services. This role will focus on building, developing, and leading strong production teams while ensuring that worship services, special events, camps, and retreats create an engaging experience for a first-church audience. The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry and a strong ability to recruit, equip, and empower volunteers to create an engaging experience for our visitors and congregation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Build and Lead Production Teams:

• Recruit, develop, and empower production volunteers and team leads for weekly services and special events.
• Create a volunteer training plan to ensure team members are equipped with the skills and tools necessary for their roles.
• Organize regular team meetings and practice sessions to ensure all team members are aligned and prepared for upcoming events.

2. Develop People:

• Foster a spiritually healthy, collaborative, supportive, and positive culture among volunteers, empowering them to serve with confidence and passion.
• Mentor and provide leadership development for production volunteers, encouraging spiritual growth alongside technical skills development.
• Invest in long-term growth by identifying potential leaders within the production teams and elevating them for leadership roles.

3. Foster an Engaging Experience:

• Oversee all technical aspects of services and events, including audio, video, lighting, and stage management, ensuring systems are prepared or optimized for volunteers to own their part of the mission through serving.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of audio production, including sound mixing, microphone setup, and live sound reinforcement for worship services and events.
• Ensure optimal sound quality for live worship, special events, and online streaming.
• Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues in real-time during services or events.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise before or during services and events to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in church production or technical roles.
• Strong ability to build, lead, and empower volunteer teams, with a focus on developing leaders.
• Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and multimedia equipment, production software, with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a high attention to detail.
• A heart for mentorship and the ability to develop leaders within a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in audio tracking and mastering techniques.
• Experience with industry-standard production software and equipment (e.g., soundboards, lighting systems).
• Background in leadership development and team building.
• Experience in coordinating or leading large events or camps.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of production equipment.
• Comfortable working at heights (e.g., on ladders) and in physically demanding environments.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and as needed for special events.
