We’ve witnessed the incredible growth of our Be Hope Kids ministry, seen our foyer bustle with life and connection, and felt the sanctuary stretch to hold all those encountering the hope of Jesus. But growth without the physical space can become a limitation and we believe God isn’t calling us to settle, but to expand.

We’re stepping into a bold vision to make space for more stories of transformation.

Through the More Than Enough Campaign, we will:

  • Expand the Be Hope Kids area to serve more children with dynamic spaces for learning and belonging. 
  • Create one incredible location for Be Hope Kids that is fun, safe, and secure. 
  • Redesign our foyer (inside & outside) to create better flow that will encourage connections and build stronger community. 
  • Add seating capacity to the sanctuary to make room for hundreds more to encounter the hope of Jesus. 
  • Expand our parking capacity to create additional spaces.

Why is this project needed?
God has blessed Be Hope with incredible growth and new opportunities to reach people. Our current spaces—especially for kids and worship gathering—are stretched beyond capacity. This project will help us create room for more people to experience hope and encounter Jesus.
How does this project help us meet our 5-year vision for Be Hope Church?
Our vision is to plant 5 new campuses, raise up 500 leaders, and baptize 5,000 people. To do that, our Beavercreek campus must be a strong foundation—equipped to disciple, train, and send leaders. This project strengthens our home base so that we can multiply hope beyond our walls.
Are we really that full, especially in the kids area?
Yes! On many weekends, our kids’ rooms are filled to capacity. In addition, the gym space for the older kids was meant as a temporary solution to our growth. Our goal is to ensure every child has a safe, engaging, and welcoming space to discover God’s love each week.
What kind of cost increase would we expect if we waited to start this project?
Construction and material costs continue to rise every year. Delaying could add hundreds of thousands of dollars to the project total. Moving forward now allows us to be good stewards of resources and momentum.
Will we be able to meet at the Beavercreek location during construction?
Yes! Our goal is to remain in the building throughout the renovation. There may be some temporary adjustments, but we’ll continue to worship together on-site each weekend.
During the renovation of the sanctuary, where will we host services?
We are working with our architect and are confident that we can stay in the sanctuary for worship during the remodel phase.
Where will the kids who currently meet in the rooms outside gym go while we remodel?
We will need to be creative during this phase and leverage the gym and other spaces that are available.
How long is the MORE THAN ENOUGH effort scheduled to take?
The 2-year campaign will start  December 2025 through December 2027, with construction timelines determined by permitting and project phases. The construction will happen prior to the campaign ending. We’ll communicate regular updates as milestones are reached.
Will the renovations be done in phases or all at once?
Renovations will be completed in strategic phases to minimize disruption to ministry and allow us to keep gathering for worship and programming throughout the process. The goal is to complete the entire project at one time versus waiting to complete the project over a couple of years. The entire length of construction is approximately 1-year once we get permits.
What is the approximate cost of the renovation, and how can I contribute to MORE THAN ENOUGH?
The total project cost is being finalized as plans are approved, but every gift—large or small—makes a difference. You can give online, through the Be Hope app, or by check (noting “More Than Enough”). Together, we can make room for more life change.
Where can I go to see renderings and track progress of the renovation?
Check back on this page to see building renderings, updates, and stories of impact. We’ll continue to share progress as construction begins and milestones are reached.
After MORE THAN ENOUGH is completed, will Be Hope return to 1 Saturday and 2 Sunday services?
Yes, that’s the plan! Once construction is complete, we’ll return to our regular service schedule with added room to grow and welcome even more people into community.

FAQ

What is the timeline for Phase 1?
Will we need to move out of the sanctuary at any time?
No. We will do the remodel during the week and in sections. There might be a weekend when you come in and the sanctuary has a third of new chairs and the rest is pews. Same with the carpet.
Can I give to the MORE THAN ENOUGH Initiative over time?
Yes. We would prefer to have as much of the $1.4 million up front but you can make payments over time.
Can I give to the MORE THAN ENOUGH Initiative online?
Yes. You can give one-time or set-up a recurring gift at behope.church/compel.
