(1) What Can Never be Taken = Faith: Where purpose comes from.
(2) What We Hold Tightly To = Relationships, Gifting: Where joy comes from.
(3) What We Can Live Without = Diversions: Where amusement comes from.

3 Signs of a Wrong Foundation:
(1) Sinking
(2) Cracks
(3) Uneven

Isaiah 40:8

Before I step into this world I need to receive a word from the Lord.

As you reflect on the message this week, use some of these questions to consider how God might be working within and around you.

Questions for Reflection:

  • What is your relationship to change? Do you view it as something to expect and embrace or prevent and reject?

  • Have the significant things you have experienced in life happened accidentally, or on purpose?

  • Do you see any of the signs of a wrong foundation creeping up in your own life?

  • Which circle do you tend to spend the most time and energy on – what can never be taken, what you desperately want to keep, or what you can live without?

  • What is your foundation built upon?
