Title: How to Count

Matthew 14:13-21, 1 Kings 17:8-16, 1 Kings 19:1-9, Exodus 16:4

Enough: the amount doesn’t matter.

Your life purpose is not the accumulation of possessions, it’s about being part of the move of God.

We do a better job counting what we could have, than what we do have.

God doesn’t need more than you have, but he won’t use what you discount.

When did God quit being enough?

He says “I have had enough God”, then he meets the God who is more than enough.

I don’t have to get blessed, I am blessed. Living in the favor of my Heavenly Father.
My praise will be louder than my need, my God has made me well.
I always have enough for God to move, he is more than enough for all I need.

As you reflect on the message this week, use some of these questions to consider how God might be working within and around you.

Questions for Reflection:

  • What do you think of when think of the word “enough”?

  • Do you have more of a tendency to count what is present or what is lacking? Give some examples.

  • What are the things in your life that you’ll have a tendency to discount that really do matter.
