Title: How To Put His Name On It

Matthew 18:20, Matthew 5:44, Exodus 20:7, 2 Corinthians 5:20

3rd Commandment: We are forbidden from representing God in a manner that is wicked, worthless, or for our own gain.

Jireh: God our provider
Shalom: God who is peace
Rophe: God who heals
Elohim: God of power

I put his name on it, his purpose in it, his glory over it.

As you reflect on the message this week, use some of these questions to consider how God might be working within and around you.

Questions for Reflection:

  • We have been called to bless others! What does this look like in your life now?

  • There is power in the name of God, but sometimes we take His name and misuse and use it in vain making it empty. Where do you find yourself falling into this? How are you representing God’s name?

  • How does having God’s name behind it change the blessings that you give? How does it change how you live? Where do you need to “put his name on it’?
