Sometimes we allow our environment or circumstances to shape our identity.
To hold the promise of God “home”, you have to know who you are “on the road”.
Accepting God’s promise is not about ability. It’s about availability.
Discussion Questions:
1) What do you do “on the road” that you would never do “at home”? What have you allowed to compromise who you are (your identity) when you are away from your comfort and routine?
2) Your character is revealed by your response to the unexpected. Think of a time that something unexpected happened in your life. How did you respond? How do you WISH you responded?
3) “Once we get intentional, we get entrusted”. How have you been intentional in creating space for God in your life? Have you allowed Him to speak into your life and shape your identity? How can you be MORE intentional moving forward?
4) Think of a promise of God that you think is impossible in your life. Spend a few minutes praying over that promise – ask that you would be available to be used for God to fulfill it.
