It’s not just experience that shapes our understanding of time, but timing has a way of shaping our experience.
Prayer is what prepares us for God’s timing.
Discussion Questions:
1) What promise in your life are you waiting for God to fulfill?
2) Think of a time in your life that a promise of God wasn’t fulfilled in YOUR timeline, but in God’s. What would have happened had it been accomplished on YOUR timeline? What would have looked different? How was it better that it was fulfilled on God’s timeline?
3) Prayer prepares us for God’s timing. Spend a few moments praying for God to do what ONLY HE can do in your life – not just that your prayer would be answered as YOU want it to be, but that you would have patience to wait on God to fulfill it in His perfect way, in His perfect time.
