- To see what’s great in you, you must know the God who’s in you.
- Jesus is the access point for God to develop you for greater things.
- “Preconnected” means you already have. “Reconnected” means you’re always trying to earn.
- It’s not dead, it’s developing.
- “Cut back” is God’s work for greater things.
- You are saved by grace – sin cannot become your excuse for living less than what God desired.
“I am already. I’m ALREADY designed for greater things in this world. My strength is not my own. My power comes from God who has ALREADY placed within me everything I need for impact. Apart from Jesus, I can do nothing. With Jesus, I can do greater things.”
Discussion Question:
1) God can’t work with people who want to choose their own direction. You have to WANT it. Do you want what God wants for you? Where do you see God working in your life right now?
2) Where you think God has “cut you off”, He is “cutting back” areas in your life so that you can bear more fruit. Think back over your life – what is a season that God was cutting something back? What “fruit” was on the other side of that?
3) You can’t take your “nothing” and turn it into “something” – you’re not God. But God has already given you what you need to do great things. Take a few moments to pray : ask God to be available to Him. That you would be open to the things that He has to “cut back” in order for Him to do a greater work in and through you.
