Discussion Questions:
1) This weekend, Brad gives us the example of a “cruise ship” vs “battleship” mentality. He uses this metaphor to explain how we might view church. In what ways have you seen this “cruise ship” preferences lived out in the churches you’ve attended? What is the state of that specific church now?
2) Brad encourages us to look at our church as a battleship. He teaches us that we need to be accessing Be Hope based on how well we are carrying out our mission and our values. How well do you see us pursuing our mission for “first church” people? Where do you see this the most?
3) Your circle of influence are people who are in contact with you everyday. How would you access your own care and witness to those around you? What are ways you need to improve?
