KEEP IT FIRST

Title: Keep it First

Conflict arises when people have different or insufficient information or disagree over what data is relevant.

Colossians 3:15

Numbers 6:22-26, Isaiah 9:6, John 14:27, John 16:33

Peace is not the absence of conflict but it is the presence of God through the conflict.

Colossians 3:16

You Are Chosen, holy and dearly loved.

Knowing we will always  face conflict is important to understand in relationships.

Conflict doesn’t  have to break our relationships when we let the peace of Christ rule in our lives.

The peace of Christ is found in acknowledging God and giving thanks for who he is in our lives.

Music can cause us to remember and resonate with us.

As you reflect on the message this week, use some of these questions to consider how God might be working within and around you.

Questions for Reflection:

  • Why is it important that we first start with understanding our identity as God’s people before diving into our own actions?

  • Compassion doesn’t just fall onto you, it isn’t a natural part of ourselves. Where do you need to place more intentionality behind choosing these virtues for your life?

  • Why is it so important we have love holding it all together? What happens if love isn’t a principle at play?
