Title: Stay Desperate

Matthew 5:6

Matthew 12:43-45

Psalm 63

It’s not about your technique, it’s about your desperation.

God’s power is limitless, but sometimes his will is mysterious.

Do not allow your questioning of the will of God allow you to begin to doubt the power of God.

Desperate has a different response.

The enemy of your faith might be you’re fine.

The struggle you face will be different from those around you, but the solution is the same.

As you reflect on the message this week, use some of these questions to consider how God might be working within and around you.

Questions for Reflection:

  • When you hear Jesus say “Anything is possible if a person believes” in Mark 9:23, what is your first thought? Do you fully believe it or does it make you think back to times when prayers felt unanswered?

  • What does it look like to be desperate for God to work and move? When have you had moments within your own faith where you have prayed with desperation?

  • What do you need to do to build hunger within your faith? Where do you need to raise the level of what you expect from God? Where do you need help in your unbelief?
