Title: The Good Fight
John 8:2-11, 2 Timothy 4:7
If there’s a good fight there’s a bad fight.
Just because I’m right doesn’t mean it’s the good fight.
The good fight is the fight of faith.
We own our part: We acknowledge that we are both the potential problem and the future solution. We are imperfect people seeking for God to transform us everyday.
You are wired for the fight.
Not everything that matters to someone should matter to you.
If the focus is on who you’re supposed to “fight with” instead of who you’re supposed to “fight for”, it’s a bad fight.
If you’re willing to die on every hill you’re going to get bloody for no reason.
Sometimes silence is the best response you can give.
Jesus fights the good fight and doesn’t ever need a weapon, he fights the good fight by taking the stone out of your own hand.
