• Evil will always resist what is redemptive.
• God never asks you to do something that He’s never done.
• The cross is the place where people go to experience God’s forgiveness.
• Their response is not a reflection of your heart. Your response is a reflection of the relationship that you already have with God.
• Forgiveness does not guarantee acceptance. Forgiveness proves that God overcame the hurt.
• You don’t live to gain acceptance. You live to bring God glory.
• Let them walk and let God work.

• What is a time that you response to someone’s forgiveness or apology caused more hurt? What happened as a result?
• Where do you need to receive God’s forgiveness in your life? Where do you need Him to overcome the hurt?
• Think of the person in your life that you need to “let them walk and let God work”. Pray for them right now. Pray for the relationship. Pray that God will continue to work in their life so that they may experience the freedom and forgiveness that you have.
