Day One
Jesus is our hope.
Life can feel uncertain. Some days it feels like everything is changing faster than we can keep up.
But here’s the truth that never changes: God is love (1 John 4:16). And because God is love, Jesus is our hope. When Jesus came into the world, He wasn’t just another teacher or prophet—He was God’s love in human form (John 3:16-17). His life, death, and resurrection were all fueled by that love. And it’s that love that secures our hope today. And the best part is that God’s love for you isn’t based on what you do or don’t do. There’s nothing you could ever do to earn it, deserve it, or lose it (Ephesians 2:8-9).
He loves you fully, completely, unconditionally…because that’s who He is. And that love is the foundation of our hope in Jesus. Hope isn’t wishful thinking. It’s confidence. It’s the anchor for our soul (Hebrews 6:19) when everything else feels shaky. We can trust that God’s love doesn’t fail, doesn’t run out, and doesn’t give up (Lamentations 3:22-23). And because of that, we can place our hope in Jesus, knowing He holds our lives and our future. At Be Hope, we believe this deeply: Jesus is our hope. When we receive God’s love, we’re called to carry it into our families, our workplaces, and our world. That’s what it means to be a Christian and to live as people of hope.
Scripture Focus:
“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
- Romans 5:5
Pause + Pray:
God, thank You for being love itself.
Thank You that because You are love, I can have hope in every season of life.
Remind me today that Your love isn’t something I could ever earn or lose—it’s a gift.
Help me hold tightly to that hope and share it with others.
Amen.
Next Step:
If you’ve said yes to Jesus and chosen to follow Him, don’t keep it to yourself. Tell someone today about the decision you’ve made. Sharing your story not only encourages your own faith and gives you accountability, but it also helps you Be Hope to someone else.
