PURPOSE
This team serves Be Hope Church by creating and executing the creative elements that take place during the weekend worship experiences with excellence and intentionality. It exists to enhance our ability to worship God in unique and expressive ways through technology, musicianship, and artistic expression.
OPPORTUNITIES
Instrumentalist – Keyboards/Synth
This is an auditioned position that is capable on either the synth, the piano, or both. This person must be competent with the Nashville Number system, be able to improvise, and play with a metronome. They must also have a good ear to hear how to voice chords and sounds within the arrangement of the song, and in conjunction with the other band members.
Instrumentalist – Guitar (Acoustic or Electric)
This is an auditioned position that must be able to utilize current technology to produce both driving rhythm and ambient textures within worship songs. This person must be able to play in any key and must be able to play with a metronome and read the Nashville Number system.
Instrumentalist – Drums
This is an auditioned position that must have a great sense of rhythm and be able to play locked into a metronome. This person must be able to play the drums competently in a variety of styles and must be musically flexible.
Vocalist – Tenor, Soprano & Alto
This is an auditioned position that must be able to hear and sing harmony and work cohesively within a team of vocalists. They must have a great sense of rhythm and be able to sing/perform in alignment with a metronome.

- Download the specific demo and track for the role you are auditioning for. If there are two songs, please download both and send one video of each.
- Use the demo to learn your part and the click track to record your audition. We must be able to hear the click track in your video.
- You will need a phone or camera to record your video (we want to clearly see your face and your instruments/fingers). Use another phone or computer to play the track audio (with the click and guide) and record over it.
- We need to hear the click track, the track audio, and your instrument in your recording.
- When deciding what to play, cover the main parts/lines of the song, and do your best to sound as close as the demo.
- When you are finished recording your video, upload it to YouTube as an unlisted video, copy the link, and paste it into your application.
- If you are auditioning for vocals, make sure you are in a quiet environment, where you can project your voice and clearly be heard. Stay as close as possible to the demo.
- Vocalists – there are two key options per song. One is the original key, and the other is a lower one. We encourage you to attempt the original but want you to choose which one fits you best.
