EVENTS

Team members are expected to be polite, courteous, and generous. We arrive early to events and stay after to clean up. We oversee anything that normally does not have a Hope Team involved and still needs to be done. In the past, the event team has done jobs such as: Hot Cocoa Bar, Root Beer Kegs, Pop Rock Shots, Inflatables, etc.

Serving on the Communion Team is a meaningful way to create sacred space for others to encounter the grace and love of Jesus. You play a vital role in helping people reflect, remember, and respond to the sacrifice of Christ. This is a quarterly event and responsibilities include passing out the all-in-one communion cups as people come into the sanctuary at the start of each service time. The role extends into the service time to help pass out cups to people who are already seated who may not have gotten one when they entered. The host will ask people to raise their hands and you will be able to take a cup to them. Communion servers are observant, aware, willing to engage with others, and courteous.
