PURPOSE

Guest Experience team members focus on feeling as much as function, creating an atmosphere of belonging at Be Hope Church. Guest Experience exists to extend empathy, to see things from the guest’s perspective and anticipate their needs. When we do our jobs well, everyone feels our values of “Everyone Belongs” and “Jesus is Our Hope!”

OPPORTUNITIES

Parking Lot Greeter
A great first impression begins in the parking lot!

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:
  • Regardless of the weather, welcome vehicles with a wave and a smile!
  • Direct first-time guests to reserved parking spots.
  • Give kids a ride to the doors in one of the wagons.
  • Have fun!
Greeter
Greeters make sure all our guests feel welcome and seen when they attend a worship service at Be Hope Church. Everyone belongs!

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:
  • Offer a friendly greeting to all who walk through the doors.
  • Go the extra mile to connect with first time guests: collect their info, give them a gift, walk them where they need to go, and introduce them to other Be Hope attenders.
  • Anticipate needs
Bridge Café Barista
The coffee bar is an extension of the warm hospitality we offer to all guests at Be Hope Church, meeting the need for connection with a beverage.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:
  • Learn the names of customers and what they order.
  • Serve coffee with skill and friendliness.
  • Follow food safety protocols.
  • Be generous!
Safety Team Officer
We want our guests to feel safe and cared for so they can worship without fear.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:
  • Ready to respond to accidents and safety issues.
  • General knowledge of first aid, CPR, and how to respond to a safety threat is a plus.
  • A focus on safety, not security, means that people come first.
  • Be aware!
First-Time Guest Follow-Up
This team communicates to our guests that they matter to us – everyone belongs! and helps them to make real connections.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:
  • Convey the vision & values of Be Hope with first time guests.
  • Contact guests from anywhere and listen well.
  • Be gracious!
Usher
Ushers extend our hospitality from the lobby to the seats of the worship center.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests into the worship center and light their way, if needed.
  • Guide latecomers to a seat – saved just for them!
  • Ensure the worship center is ready for our guests by picking up trash, restocking connect cards and pens, and reserving seats as needed.
  • Be available!
Hope Store
Make Be Hope gear available and accessible to everyone who wants to wear their witness.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities:
  • Keep the store stocked and tidy.
  • Help shoppers with purchases and offer discounts when needed.
  • Be generous!
Flower Potters
Caring for the plants and floral planters at each entrance communicates to our guests that we care about the details.

    Choose and plant a variety of flowers and plants to make a good impression.
  • Keep plants looking vibrant and healthy.
  • Change out plants seasonally.
